God’s main directive to mankind has always been consistent from Adam to our dispensation:

“Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” – Genesis 1:28 KJV

He gave the same command to Noah after most of the creation was wiped by the great deluge:” And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.” – Genesis 9:1 KJV

Jesus gave a similar command to his disciples and further promised them the Holy Spirit to accelerate this mission: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8 NIV.
